Supplications for when you wake up

1. Allah hummah lailaahil-lathee ahyaanaa ba'ad maa 'amaatanaa wa 'ilayhin nushoor

Translation : Praise is to Allah who gives up life after HE has caused us to die and to HIM is the return

2. La ilaha illalahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu ,lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu ,wa huwa alaa kulli shay'in qadeer.Subhanaanallahi,walhamdulillahi ,wa laa ilaaha illallahu wallaahu akbar,wala haula wala quwwata illa billa hil aleeyil azeem,Rabbiqfirlee

Translation : There is none worthy worship but Allah alone,WHO has no partner.HIS is the dominion and to HIM belongs all praise ,and HE is able to do all things.Glory is to Allah.Praise is to Allah. There is none worthy worship but Allah.Allah is the most Great .There is no might,no power except by Allah's leave,the Exalted,the Mighty,My lord ,forgive me.

3. Alhamdu lillahil lazee aafaanee fee jasadee,wa radda alayya roohee,wa azina lee bizikriki 

Translation : Praise is to Allah who gave strenght to my body and returned my soul and permitted me to remember HIM.

Invocation when getting Dressed

1. Al hamdulillahil lathee kasaanee haata wa razaqaaneehi min ghayri hawmil minnee wa laa quwwatin.

Translation: Praise be to Allah who has clothed me with this (garment) and provided it for me,though I was powerless myself and incapable.

2. Allahumma inni as alulaka min khayri was kahyri ma huwal lahu,wa auzubika min sharri wassharri ma huwalahu.

Translation: O Allah ! I ask you the good in it and the good for which is made.And i seek protection from evil in it and evil from which it is made.

What to say when Undressing

1. Bismillah

Translation: In the Name of Allah.

2. Bismillahil lazi la ilaha illalahu

Translation: In the Name of Allah,There is no deity except HIM.

Invocation while entering the Washroom

1. Allahumma  inni auzubika minal khubuti wal qubaayat

Translation: O Allah ! I seek refuge in you from male and female spirits

Invocation while leaving the Washroom

1. Ghufraanak

Translation: I seek your forgiveness (O Allah)

What to say when leaving Home

1. Bismillahi tawakkaltu Allah-lah La haula wala quuwata illa billa

Translation: In the Name of Allah,i have placed my trust in Allah.There is no power andno might except by Allah.

2. Allahumma innee auzoobika an adhilla aw udhalla aw azilla aw uzalla aw adhima aw udhalma aw ajhala aw yujhala alayya

Translation: O Allah ! I seek refuge in You lest I misguide other,or i am misguided by others,lest I cause others to err or I am caused to err,lest I abuse others or be abused,and lest I behave foolishly or meet with foolishness of others. 

What to say when entering Home

1. Bismillahi walajalnaa, wa bismillahi kharajnaa, wa' alaa Rabbinna tawakkalnaa

Translation: In the Name of Allah we enter, in the Name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we depend.

Invocation for Entering the Mosque

1. Auzubillahi adheen, wa biwajhihil kareem, wa sultaanihil qadeem,minash shaytaanir rajeem.Allahumma maftahlee abwaaba rahmatika

Translation: I seek refuge in Allah, by his Noble Face, by his primordial power,from satan, the outcast. Open for me the doors of your Mercy.

Invocation for Leaving the Mosque

1. Bismillah wassalaatu wssalamu alaa Rasolillahi Allahumma innee as'aluka min fadhika Allahumma simnee minash shayataanir rajeem

Translation: In the Name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah,O Allah,I ask your favour, O Allah, protect me from satan the outcast.

What to say upon hearing the Athan (call of prayer)

1. Repeat what the Mu'aththin says, except for when he says: Hayya alas Salaah (hasten to the prayer) and Hayya alas Falaah (Hasten to salvation). Here you should say: Laa hawla wala quwwata illa billah (There is no right and no power except Allah.)

2. Wa aana ash-haduan laa ilaha illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa aana Muhammadan abdahu wa Rasoolahu, radheetu billahi Rabban, wa bi Muhammadin Rasoolan wa bil'islaami deenan.

Translation: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His slave and His messenger. I am pleased with Allah as my lord, with Muhammad as my Messenger and with Islam as my religion.(To be recited after the Mu'aththin words of affirmation of faith)

Invocation for the Beginning of Prayer

1. Subhaanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika tabaarakasmuka, wa ta'aala jaduka wa laa ilaaha ghayruka

Translation: Glory is to you O Allah, and praise.Blessed is Your Name and Exalted is Your Majesty. There is none worthy worship but You.

2. Allahumma Rabba Jibraaeela, wa mikaaeela wa isfaaeela faatiras samaawaati walardh, Aalimal ghaybi washahaadati, Anta tahkumu bayna ibaadika feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon.Ihdinee limakh tulifa feehi minal haqqi bi;ithnika innaka tahdee man tashaatu ilaa siraatim mustaqeem.

Translation: O Allah, Lord of Jibrail,Mikail and Israfil,Maker of Heaven and Earth.Knower of unseen and the seen. You judge between your slaves regarding that in which they differ.Guide me to the truth, regarding that in which there is difference, by Your leave. Surely,You guide whomever you please to the straight path.

Invocation During Ruku (bowing in prayer)

1. Subhanna Rabbiyal Adheem

Translation: Glory to my Lord the Exalted (three times in Arabic)

2. Subhanaka allahumma rabbana wabihamdika Allahum maghfirlee

Translation: Glory is to you,O Allah, our lord and praise is Yours. O Allah, forgive me.

3. Subboohun, Quddoosun, Rabbulmalaaikati warooh

Translation: Glory (to you),Most high (are you),Lord of the angels and the spirit.

Invocation For Rising from The Ruku

1. Samiallahu liman hamida

Translation: Allah hears whoever praises Him

2. Rabbanaa wa lakal hamd, hamdan kateeran tayyiban mubaarakan feeh

Translation: Our Lord, praise is Yours, abundant, good and blessed praise

Invocation During Sujood

1.Subhanna Rabiiyal Alaa

Translation: Glory is to My Lord, The Most High (three times in Arabic)
